Questo contiene alcune delle più belle e conosciute tra le canzoni di Stanford, compresa The Fairy Loughe anche l'integrale delle 'Canzoni del mare' su testi di Sir Henry Newbolt. Si possono anche ascoltare tutte e sette le canzoni di A Fire of Turf - piacevolissime vignette della vita campestre Irlandese. Come il primo volume anche questo contiene molte canzoni che non ci risulta essere mai state incise in altre edizioni, e quindi risulta un 'must' per tutti gli amanti delle canzoni inglesi, (anche se Stanford era irlandese).
